Animal Crossing: New Horizons is another game entry into greatly loved Nintendo game series, where players engage with their local residents, build, farm, collect critters, and do so many more enjoyable activities while exploring their game world. In New Horizons, you find yourself on a deserted island where Tom Nook has kindly brought together several residents to try and build an excellent foundation and land together.
For those eager to play the game, you need to have access to a Nintendo Switch or a Nintendo Switch lite. Right now, the Nintendo Switch is the only way to play the game. You can’t play it on other Nintendo products, at the time of this writing. You can purchase it from a physical store, such as GameStop, online through Amazon, or Nintendo’s eShop, and have it directly downloaded to your Nintendo Switch if you have enough memory on your software’s hard drive.
New Horizons may come to other Nintendo products in the future, but it has no definite plans and has not shared any details about what product that could be. If you have a subscription to Nintendo’s online service, you can play the game with friends if they also have the game. You can visit them on their island, invite them to yours, and go on a variety of different adventures exploring each other’s hard work. Additionally, New Horizons supports two to four-player local co-op, meaning you can invite friends over to try out the game together. It does not have split screen.
If you have a Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a worthwhile game to pick up. You have an endless list of tasks to complete with plenty of work ahead of you.
