WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — Crews are responding to a new wildfire that broke out near the Oak Grove Campground in Washington County.
State fire officials said the Oak Grove Fire has burned an estimated 200 acres, as of 6:33 p.m. Sunday.

“A Type 3 IMT (Incident Management Team) has been ordered to manage the incident due to increased complexity,” read a tweet from the Utah Fire Info.
Four crews, seven smoke jumpers and a Type 3 helicopter are currently responding.
Fire officials said the Oak Grove Campground was evacuated due to the blaze, adding that the flames could be seen from Interstate 15.

The fire was determined to be caused by an unattended campfire.
