The chatter of a Munna Bhai M.B.B.S sequel has only gotten louder over the years. While there have been no updates about the next instalment, Sanjay Dutt has dropped a hint that has sparked speculation again.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra bankrolled both Munnai Bhai M.B.B.B and Lage Raho Munna Bhai. Talks of another instalment have surfaced time and again. Recently, Arshad Warsi revealed that Munna Bhai 3 is not in the works. He said that director Rajkumar Hirani isn’t sure about the script and won’t make the film till it's perfect.
Sanjay Dutt has a packed slate of upcoming films including Leo, The Good Maharaja and more. He was last seen in a full-fledged role in Shamshera and in a cameo in Jawan.
